Petals for Animal Companions (PAC) is a free floral delivery program offered by Snickerdoodles' Rabbit Rescue & Pet Loss Support 501(c)(3) operated by all volunteers for individuals and families experiencing loss of a pet.
For many, our pets are like family members, and grief from the loss of a pet can be comparable to that of a human loss, and can even moreso be complicated to navigate.
Loss can take on many forms and can extend beyond death. Loss can look like an individual having an extended stay in the hospital and being away from their pet, a pet escaping the home and not being able to locate, or anticipating the loss to occur in some way or another.
It can feel like a type of grief that isn't openly acknowledged socially, creating more obstacles that one may find themselves experiencing.
Our PAC program serves as a stepping stone to normalize the grief associated with the loss of a pet, and to celebrate the special bond that we may continue to hold with them even after that loss.
PAC volunteers will work with the floral shop to create an arrangement that symbolizes the relationship between human and animal, providing a colorful, special gift to memorialize the beloved pet and showing support to someone you care about.
How it Works:
1. We are opening up applications now and will be accepting just a small group of requests to ensure a smooth opening of the program and utilization of resources available. Once this has been reached, we will then close applications and re-open them at a future date. Thank you for your understanding.
2. Please select the "Request Floral Delivery" button to complete a brief application. You can apply for yourself, or request for another person, such as a friend or family member that could use a kind surprise.
3. Once you have submitted the application form, Snickerdoodles' team will then review and respond with additional information. Thank you for your patience!
4. If approved, Snickerdoodles' will communicate with the requester on next steps. In partnership with Flowers by Pat; A volunteer with Snickerdoodles' will arrange the order with Flowers by Pat and deliver to the individual or family's home.

-Please know that although we are very excited and binkying with joy that we are offering this new program, we still want to ensure that we have appropriate resources and financial sustainability to continue offering this service for free to additional community members in need that we can make a positive impact on. PAC is completely funded by community donations. Please consider making a donation to the PAC program, so that we can reach a larger area and more families that could use this service.
